Sterling Rope Company is a premier manufacturer of high quality, award-winning ropes
for both climbers and rescue professionals.
The company's web site presents information about over 100 products,
including product descriptions, images, and detailed specifications.
The site also presents detailed biographies of over 100 Sterling Rope-sponsored
professional athlete climbers. The site collects online requests for product brochures
and emails a summary of those requests to Sterling Rope staff for fulfillment.
Starting with storyboards developed by a graphic artist, I designed and developed the
web site. I also developed several forms to allow Sterling Rope staff to edit
product and athlete information.
As web master, I continue to update the web site regularly, providing updates on
company events, new product releases, and othe information.
The web site is implemented using Active Server Pages with VBscript. Most of the
site's content is stored in a SQL Server database.
